The inaugural Quandong festival August 6th in Quorn, Flinders Ranges on Nukunu country brings together some of the best growers, chefs, academics, scientists, authors and more to celebrate sustainable living, farming and bush foods.

Supported by FRRR, through funding from the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund, The Flinders Ranges Council, South Australian Arid Lands Landscape Board, and curated by Warndu. The Quandong Festival features Australian native food growers, harvesters, cooks, educators and enthusiasts, including Costa from ABC's Gardening Australia, River Cottage's Paul West, The Agrarian Kitchen’s Rodney Dunn and renowned author Bruce Pascoe. Join us to celebrate with educational workshops, cooking demonstrations, panel discussions, culinary experiences, music, art, family activities all set in the beautiful Flinders Ranges.

This event is building local drought resilience; we’re fostering higher rates of innovation in our local regional economy and Ag sector; and improving regional branding and recognition of our local food-agri-systems.
